Get ready for a treat. DJ AUDIO1, a king of music in his realm, the Bay Area, has just dropped his first MYN Exclusive Mix for all us bass heads. Straying a tad from what he’s been playing out, Mr AUDIO1 decided to give us a taste of the “UK/global bass” sound. He starts out the mix with some mellow yet groovy bass lines with some pretty intricate drum work. His song selection is on point, as he blends tracks back and forth, mixing like a mad man. Oh boy, then does it get good – dipping into some fuuunky house music that gets the booty shakin’. But it doesn’t stop and he throws in some bumpin’ classic electro. From there AUDIO1 goes on a wild journey through genres, just giving you a taste of each, while somehow keeping the flow and energy consistent throughout. If you haven’t heard of DJ AUDIO1, he’s a master of all genres, and of the turntables. An old school mixer, a mentor of DJ’s all over California and beyond, a Bay Area Legend, and an active member in the San Francisco and Bay Area music scene. Not to mention a pretty nice guy.
